Each year, companies have to calculate and publish their gender equality index.

But what does it says ? The grade is defined upon 4 criterion (wage gap between men and women, individual pay increases repartition, individual pay increases for co-workers in maternity leave, parity in the 10 highest  remuneration in the company).

For 2024, Guérin France obtained de 96/100.

Here are some examples…

  • We obtained the CSR label in 2023 following an external audit.
    An ethical, IT, and environmental charter is signed by each individual upon joining the company (interns, temporary workers, fixed-term contracts, and permanent contracts). This important document within the company serves as a reminder of essential rules, particularly in the context of CSR.
  • Whenever possible, we work closely with local partners (suppliers, schools, cinemas, green space maintenance, etc.).
    We participate in various local associations.
  • We sort and recycle our waste, especially offcuts and remnants of raw materials.
    We gradually replace outdated lighting systems with more energy-efficient solutions. Presence sensors have been in place for many years, and the heating and air conditioning systems are centrally managed to ensure responsible energy use.
  • A Quality, Safety, and Environmental competition is organized annually to raise employee awareness on these three important topics.
  • We are committed to digitizing documents (pay slips, control cards, etc.) to reduce our paper and ink consumption.
  • We stopped using gas in 2023.
    We have invested in and rethought our energy consumption (electricity, water, etc.). Action plans have been implemented, leading to a significant reduction in our energy consumption in 2023.
  • We have installed bicycle racks and established partnerships (such as carpooling) to promote sustainable mobility.
  • We invest every year in safety and ergonomics
  • Training programs, investments, and preventive and protective measures, among others.
  • We adopt a responsible approach to remote work. This helps reduce the carbon footprint associated with commuting while maintaining team spirit and a sense of belonging.
  • We have implemented a four-night workweek for night shift workers, allowing them to recover better, maintain a healthier work-life balance, and reduce the number of commutes.
  • A unilateral decision was signed in 2023 to allow employees to donate rest days to colleagues facing personal difficulties, fostering solidarity within the company.
  • Every year, we organize a random draw for the various gifts received from our partners. This ensures that all gifts are pooled together, giving every employee a fair chance to win a prize.
  • Employees have permanent access to strategic indicators. Additionally, two employees, on a voluntary and rotating basis, are invited to quarterly meetings to stay informed about action plans, key performance indicators of each department, and discussions on important topics.
  • And finally, our mission speaks for itself: “Filters by Guerin for a sustainable future.”
    Our ambition: to provide sustainable and recyclable filtration solutions through our products and contribute to improving our environment through their impact.
